I had a friend in college who used to be very studious in the very first year and by the end of that year, he proposed to the girl he liked and she accepted. A very strange thing happened after that. He became more studious after that!I was surprised at this and asked him the reason. He said:

I had a friend in college who used to be very studious in the very first year and by the end of that year, he proposed to the girl he liked and she accepted. A very strange thing happened after that. He became more studious after that!I was surprised at this and asked him the reason. He said:

We both motivate each other to study. We have decided to build a bright future together!

I was shocked to know that relationships can have this kind of mentality too. I then congratulated him for being in such a wonderful relationship.He scored well in the 3rd semesters that followed. But after those ended, he changed. He rarely came to the class. Most of the time he was sleepy and he also started siting at the backbenches as he wanted to sleep. One day this conversation happened between him and me.

Me : Hey, why you come late to the class? Why you feel sleepy all the time? Are you ill or are you studying nights?

He: Dude, I got a new girlfriend!

Me: What! You dumped Sonia(Changed)?

He: Nope! Sonia is still my girlfriend. They both are!

I was perplexed. How could he do this? It’s not right.Then he showed me the pic of that girl Richa(changed). I kid you not people, she had a sparkling similarity to August Ames!

Let me tell you guys one more thing. Sonia was an average looking girl and was nothing compared to the physical beauty that Richa possessed.I told him not to do that but he said.

It’s college life, man. Let me live it up!

His performance in exam, his attendance in class, his spending of time with friends, all went down. One day I came to know that he is in a relationship with a 3rd girl now! I was shocked.I was now pretty sure that he was quickly turning int a womanizer.

I asked him to stop this pathetic thing many a times but he didn’t listen. He was on Whatsapp all the time chatting with girls.All the girls except Sonia were treating him like an ATM machine. Richa was the most evil of all of them. He asked his parents for this money in the name of purchasing books. He also developed a habit of drinking and smoking.

There were just 3 things that were left in his life now.

1.Sex.

2. Girlfriends.

3. Alcohol.

He was unable to see anything past that. But nature forgives no one. One day his parents came to know about all this and they stopped all the money they sent to him. The most dramatic thing happened after that. He was having a total of 9 girlfriends before this happened and was left with just one after that! Yes, No money, No honey!

He plunged in depression due to that and began drinking even more. We all somehow took him out of this depression and made him a sane person again.

Do you want to know how many years he wasted in all this?

4.5 years!

In this time, he could have been with Sonia and built a bright future with her but just one small mistake ruined his life!So the moral of the story is:

These all things are a waste of your time:

1. Drinking,

2. Chatting all the time,

3. Making multiple girlfriends

These 3 things can lead to many other evils also. They just tend to magnify all the bad things. If you can control just these three things, your life is sorted! We have decided to build a bright future together!
