Rs 50L compensation for Nambi Narayanan

The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday granted compensation of Rs 50 lakh to acquitted scientist Nambi Narayanan for being arrested by the Kerala Police 24 years ago after being implicated in ISRO spy case. The apex court hearing was on the petition for criminal action against state police officials for allegedly fabricating the case in 1994.
